Three Decades of Extraordinary Commissions

Since 1987, Studio Vetrarte has executed commissions that few ateliers in the world could undertake. Our work spans continents, scales, and traditions — from medieval grisaille technique in Tokyo's cathedrals to etched crystal panels aboard CRN superyachts. Each project is designed, handcrafted, and installed under the direct supervision of Paolo Corpetti.
Below is a selection of our most significant completed works. Every project began with a conversation, a sketch, and a commitment to making something that had never existed before.

Sacred Architecture
180 square metres of leaded stained glass, grisaille painting, and dalle de verre. One of the largest single stained glass projects undertaken by an Italian studio in Japan. The iconographic programme was developed in close collaboration with the religious community, drawing on both Western medieval tradition and the visual sensibility of the Japanese congregation.

120 square metres. A companion commission to Yokohama, executed for the Aoyama district congregation in Tokyo. Together, the two projects represent over 300 square metres of original sacred stained glass created for Japan — an exceptional achievement for an Italian workshop.

Congregazione della Santa Croce — Rome, Italy
Sacred commission for the Congregation of the Holy Cross in Rome, featuring traditional leaded glass and grisaille painting on mouth-blown glass with kiln-fired enamels.
Casadangela Yokohama - JP

Luxury Hospitality

Grand Hotel Vanvitelli — Caserta, Italy
258 square metres of artistic glass canopy (velario). One of the largest decorative glass installations in Italian hotel history, designed for the Grand Hotel Vanvitelli in the UNESCO Royal Palace complex of Caserta. The project required structural engineering coordination, multiple kiln firings, and a phased installation plan.

Hotel San Giorgio — Civitavecchia, Italy
110 square metres. Iconographic stained glass velario with leaded tesserae and scenic narrative panels. Full iconographic programme developed and executed in traditional leaded technique with grisaille detailing.

Bliss Grocery — Chisinau, Moldova
50 square metre glass dome for one of Moldova's most prestigious retail destinations. International logistics, customs coordination, and on-site installation managed by our studio.

Private Residences

Private Villa — Miami, Florida, USA
Commissioned stained glass panels for a prominent private villa in Miami. The work was shipped to the United States and installed under our direct supervision.

Villa Lilli — Italy
50 square metres of decorative luminous glass wall, integrated into the interior architecture of a prestigious private villa in close collaboration with the interior design team.

Romance Yacht

M/Y Romance — CRN Superyacht
Etched crystal decorative panels designed and executed for a CRN-built superyacht, in collaboration with the vessel's interior fit-out team.

M/Y IDynasty I & II
Two separate commissions for the IDynasty series, encompassing etched and decorated crystal panels across multiple interior spaces, coordinated with the vessel's designers and delivered within the build schedule.
